Container Placement Guide

Correct placement depends on your container size. Therefore, review the guide below before ordering.

20ft containers — end racking

In a 20ft container, the QF1066 mounts at the closed container end. As a result, the remaining floor space remains clear for pallets, vehicles, or equipment. This is the most common configuration for tool and parts storage.

40ft containers — end racking only

In a 40ft container, end racking works well when the side walls remain clear. However, if you install side-run racking down the length of the 40ft container, there is not enough clearance to fit end racking at the same time.

In addition, the 40ft configuration supports racking on both sides of the container (two-tier or three-tier runs). If you want end-only racking in a 40ft container, the QF1066 fits correctly without conflict.

Assembly Overview

The QF1066 assembles inside the container in four steps. No tools are required.

1. Position the two pre-assembled end frames at the correct shelf spacing.
2. Slot the beams into the frame uprights at your chosen height settings.
3. Clip the safety clips onto each beam to lock the beams in place.
4. Lay the 25 mm chipboard shelves across the beams on each tier.

The end frames arrive pre-assembled. Therefore, no frame construction is required on site. The full bay assembles in under 30 minutes.
