Terms of Service – Shipping Storage Containers UK Ltd

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase, rental, or use of shipping containers, accessories, custom conversions, and related services from Shipping Storage Containers UK Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14434403, VAT GB 428751770), located at 102 Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, WV6 0BW.

By placing an order, making payment, or accepting delivery, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders & Quotes Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Orders are binding upon our written/electronic confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
   
   
2. Product Information & Condition All containers are ISO-standard and supplied weather-tight (CSC plate where applicable). New containers carry manufacturer warranties; used/refurbished units come with our inspection guarantee and typically a 12-month watertight warranty (extendable on request). Photos/specs are provided upon request. Minor cosmetic variations may occur.
   
   
3. Delivery & Risk Delivery is nationwide UK (additional charges apply for remote areas). Risk passes to you upon delivery/collection. You must ensure safe site access and prepare the ground. We are not liable for delays due to weather, traffic, or your site issues.
   
   
4. Custom Conversions & Modifications Bespoke work follows agreed specifications. Changes after commencement may incur extra costs/time. We warrant workmanship for 12 months from delivery.
   
   
5. Payment Governed by our Payment Policy (linked above). Full payment is required before final delivery/release for custom work.
   
   
6. Warranties & Liability
   • Containers are sold/rented “as inspected.” We warrant against major structural defects (beyond normal wear) for the stated period.
   • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods/services supplied. We are not liable for consequential losses, business interruption, or misuse.
   • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
     
     
7. Returns & Cancellations Due to the nature of goods (large, custom, or used), standard consumer cancellation rights may not apply. See Payment Policy for details.
   
   
8. Governing Law These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
   
   
9. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
