This New 20ft High Cube shipping container gives you a full extra foot of headroom (9’6″ vs. the standard 8’6″) — ideal for storing plant machinery, tall equipment, or converting into a workspace. Supplied one-trip (like-new condition), CSC plated, wind and watertight, with nationwide UK delivery.
£2,850.00
Our New 20ft High Cube shipping container offers a full extra foot of internal headroom compared to a standard-height unit — 9’6″ (2.9m) external height instead of the usual 8’6″ (2.59m). Supplied one-trip (used only once to import cargo into the UK, so effectively like-new condition), it’s the ideal choice when a standard 20ft container just isn’t tall enough.
Built to ISO shipping standards from corrosion-resistant Corten steel, this container is wind and watertight, CSC plated, and fitted with a factory lockbox as standard — ready for secure site storage, export, or conversion straight off the lorry.
– Extra headroom: 9’6″ external height — a full 12 inches taller than a standard 20ft container
– One-trip condition: used for a single import journey only — cosmetically like-new
– CSC plated: certified for both storage and international shipping/export use
– Corten steel construction: corrosion-resistant, built to withstand UK weather
– Factory-fitted lockbox– with high-security locking bars for theft protection
– Marine-grade plywood flooring – (approx. 28mm) rated for forklift and pallet loads
– Multiple lashing/tie-down points – for secure transport of goods
– **Available in Blue (RAL5010/5013) or Green (RAL6007)**- as standard; respray available on request

– Storing plant machinery, diggers, and tall equipment
– Site or long-term storage requiring extra headroom
– Export shipping (CSC plated for international transport)
– Container conversions where internal cladding/insulation will reduce usable height (a high cube gives you the extra margin standard containers don’t)
– Boiler rooms, biomass plant housing, or workshop conversions
If you’re planning to line the container with insulation or cladding, internal height is typically reduced by 3–6 inches depending on materials used. A High Cube’s extra 12 inches of headroom means you keep comfortable standing room even after fit-out — something a standard 8’6″ unit often can’t offer once lined.
Delivered nationwide via flatbed/tilt-bed lorry. Before ordering, please check:
– Suitable vehicle access to your site (a fully loaded 20ft container
delivery lorry needs a clear, level run)
– Firm, level ground prepared for offloading
– Sufficient overhead clearance, given the extra height of this unit
What does “one trip” mean?
A one-trip container has made a single import journey from the factory to the UK carrying cargo, then is sold on. It’s effectively brand new with only cosmetic signs of that single trip — a lower-cost alternative to a factory-direct new container.
What’s the difference between a High Cube and a standard container?
A High Cube container stands 9’6″ tall externally versus the standard 8’6″ — giving 12 inches of extra internal headroom for the same footprint.
Is this container CSC plated for shipping?
Yes. It’s supplied with a valid CSC plate, so it’s suitable for both static UK storage and international export/shipping use.
Can I get this container in a specific colour?
Standard stock comes in Blue (RAL5010/5013) or Green (RAL6007). A custom RAL respray service is available on request — contact us for pricing.
Do I need planning permission to install a shipping container?
This depends on your local authority and intended use. We recommend checking with your local council before installation, particularly for permanent siting.
